Pro-Life Ministry

St. Joseph’s Pro-life Ministry offers many opportunities to not only support life in prayer, but also in action, within the parish, on the Diocesan level, and beyond. In the last years, the following are examples of some of the work we do:

  • Hosted the National Day of Remembrance at Resurrection Cemetery in September

  • Prayed the rosary at Planned Parenthood as well as the Life Chain

  • Organized collections of clothes and necessities in support of Gabriel’s Call

  • Encouraged Spiritual Adoption

  • Supported Mother of Life with the sale of roses on Mother’s Day

  • Provided prayer shawls for those suffering illness or loss

  • And this year we celebrate our third anniversary making and delivering sandwiches to Serenity House on a weekly basis for the homeless of Woonsocket. (Over 15,000 sandwiches in all!)

We are so grateful to all who have supported any or all of these whether physically or financially.

The Pro-Life Ministry monthly meetings will now be held on the second Thursday of the month. All are welcome to join us.
