Order of Christian Initiation

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process by which individuals are prepared to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church. Through prayer, study, and formation, participants come to know the teachings of the Church and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Beginning in the fall, classes will be held by the pastor every 1–2 weeks and will continue through the liturgical year, culminating at the Easter Vigil, when those who are ready will be received into the Church and fully initiated through the sacraments.

Who should participate in OCIA:

  • Those who have never been baptized

  • Those baptized in a non-Catholic Christian tradition who wish to become Catholic

  • Baptized Catholics who have not yet received First Communion and/or Confirmation

If you are interested or would like to sign up, please use the registration form below and makes sure to talk to the pastor on a weekend Mass.
